Hi Frieenchies,

Welcome to our blog. My name is Stéphanie, your resident blogger! We started this Blog when the Frieench gastronomy portal was set up, because I really want to share my everyday experiences with you and promote French gastronomy. What do I do for a living? I’m a native Parisian and a qualified Interior Designer, but that’s a whole other story. When I’m not jogging or going to contemporary art exhibitions, my daily life revolves around my absolute passion for cooking and my insatiable desire to test new recipes that continually push the boundaries. So let’s start at the beginning. People have often told me that wishful thinking can’t make things happen. I’m sorry, but I’m a Leo and that makes me keenly curious. If I had been able to turn my house into a castle when I was a little girl, then I’m pretty sure I would have done it. I still don’t have a magic wand to change the world – at least not yet – so I satisfy my curiosity when I’m in full-on creative mode with one of my favorite activities: cooking. There’s nothing like cooking to tickle the taste buds! What’s more, it combines art and creativity. It is above all about taking the time to share old signatures, new versions with a twist that are simple or more daring, and can easily be prepared with that extra special touch that makes all the difference. From Entrée through to Dessert, I let you in on my hot favorites, secrets and tips to explore and share with you. Let me tell you that I am a Champagne lover, for me the perfect pairing for my recipes. Follow me for a whole host of ideas and get inspired for any time of day!
