With traditional bistro food served from early morning to late evening, Balthazar restaurant (SoHo, New York) boasts a French-inspired menu. The restaurant has an excellent wine list, a raw seafood bar as well as breads and pastries prepared at the Balthazar bakery. The restaurant is well-known for its notable design. As a former warehouse used by leather wholesalers, the lofty dining room, with the zinc bar as the centerpiece, can hold over 200 people. Balthazar is also the perfect venue for your special events. Recommended in the MICHELIN guide 2011. With its buzzing French bistro atmosphere, Balthazar is a little taste of Paris in New York. The meat and poultry dishes served there include Duck Shepherd’s Pie, Roasted Chicken and Steak Frites. With a full shellfish and raw oyster bar, and an excellent selection of fish starters, Balthazar is seafood lover’s paradise. Bonne dégustation NYC!
