Bienvenu into the famous Bacchus restaurant! Bacchus, named for the Roman god of wine, is a French bistro in the Boerum Hill section of Brooklyn, New York, close to Atlantic Avenue. At the helm of this lively establishment is oenophile and restaurateur Bruno Laclide. As the name of the bistro would suggest, wine is the star and is available by the glass or bottle from an extensive wine list carefully curated to span the range from affordable bottles to connoisseur vintages. Bacchus has a hidden cellar which boasts such gems as Petrus and Château d’Yquem. The wine list complements the traditional bistro fare served in an intimate interior or outdoors in the garden by attentive staff. Quintessentially French dishes include foie gras pan-fried and in a terrine, steak frites, French onion soup and moules frites. Freshly sourced produce from local farmers and growers ensures premium quality and this is complemented by close attention to flavor. Bacchus is an ideal venue for a romantic dinner, a get-together with friends, or a special celebration such as a wedding, anniversary, or birthday. A bientôt chez Bacchus restaurant!
