Alain Coumont
Welcome to Le Pain Quotidien in Midtown West, NYC! The Pain Quotidien bakery takes its name from owner Alain Coumont’s father’s favorite expression “moi, ce n’est pas mon pain quotidien!” (literally “It’s not my daily bread!”). Originally from Belgium, this lovely bakery looks backwards to the traditions of the past and forwards too by incorporating new ideas and developments. Fantastic bread is complemented with simple wholesome fruit, vegetables and preserves. Breakfast of omelette, granola-topped organic yogurt and fresh artisan bread is particularly popular. Organic, vegan and gluten-free options are also available. You can succumb to temptation with a giant chocolate chip cookie or fresh raspberry tart. For a convivial glass of wine with friends or co-workers there are charcuterie or cheese plates, vegan quinoa tabbouleh or Tuscan-style platters to share. Experience an incredible menu: welcome to Le Pain Quotidien NYC! Bon appétit Midtown West!
